New article by Walter R. Stahel: Reuse is the best waste prevention strategy in the Circular Economy

A new EU research programme -- Critical Raw Materials Closed Loop Recovery -- is to invest in trials to demonstrate innovative new methods for the collection and reprocessing of waste electronic and electrical equipment (WEEE), hopefully leading to increased recovery of critical raw materials.

Walter R. Stahel keynote speaker at the opening of the 2016 MIECF conference in Macau

On 31 March, Walter R. Stahel was the keynote speaker at the opening of the 2016 MIECF conference in Macau on ‘Green Economy – Opportunities for Waste Management’, with a presentation ‘The Green Economy and its environmental and social impacts and opportunities’. On 1st April, he chaired a Special Session on ‘Enhancing Waste Management through Internet plus’ and gave an introduction on ‘The Internet of Things – owner – user – value – liability issues’.
