The EU’s commissioner in charge of taxation has called on member states to push forward with shifting taxes from labour to natural resources, carbon and energy (Brussels, 2.2.17).

This is great news, as it picks up one of the three proposals in my article

THE REMANUFACTURING SECTOR

On 27 January 2017, the European Remanufacturing Council (Conseil Européen de Remanufacture) was launched by the European Remanufacturing Network (ERN) at the Stanhope Hotel in Brussels.

Researchers can now consult most of Walter's publications - by prior appointment only - at the Centre for Environmental Strategies (CES), University of Surrey, Guildford, UK
